Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of DeyHearMe, a transcription service operated by Oriverse ("we", "our", "us"). By using DeyHearMe, you agree to these Terms.

1. Account Registration

You must create an account to use DeyHearMe. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating your account.

2. Service Description

DeyHearMe provides AI-powered transcription services that convert spoken audio (including Nigerian Pidgin and English) into written text. The service includes:

Web-based voice recording and transcription
Audio file upload and transcription
Desktop dictation application
Raw and Professional text output modes
Export in multiple formats (TXT, DOCX, PDF, SRT)

3. Plans and Pricing

Free Plan: 60 minutes per month, web transcription, TXT export.

Pro Plan ($10/month, ₦14,000 in Nigeria): 500 minutes per month, all export formats, AI actions, unlimited transcript history.

Prices are in USD (or local currency equivalent for supported regions). You can cancel your subscription at any time from your settings.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the service for any illegal purpose
Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or compromise the service
Upload malicious content or audio designed to exploit the system
Share your account credentials with others
Exceed your plan's usage limits through automated means
Use the service to transcribe content you do not have rights to

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of all audio and text content you create through DeyHearMe. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. We process your audio solely to provide the transcription service.

6. AI-Generated Output

The Professional text output is generated by AI (Google Gemini). While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated text may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all output before use in important contexts.

7. Service Availability

We aim to provide reliable service but do not guarantee 100% uptime. We may perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect availability. We will provide notice for planned downtime when possible.

8. Data and Privacy

Your use of DeyHearMe is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the service, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described in that policy.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Limitation of Liability

DeyHearMe is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the preceding 12 months.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify you of significant changes via email.
